It must been seen! This is how I felt after seeing it.. and what I told Brook and his mother Michelle......



Thank you! Thank you and Thank you! I just wanted to say let you know that I was blown away by the film.. I have and was not expecting it to blown me away! It did and then some! I loved the perspective I loved the stories, the voice overs.... but most of all it was from the children's view point! Brook did an amazing job! We all lost friends, friends of friends and family friends.. But we will never forget...............


WOW...... is all I have to say!

'Ground Zero' & The Sept 11th Photo Project by Brook Peters

The Sept 11th Photo Project... 10 years later..

I was contacted by Brook and his mother to contribute images for his film project.

Brook is a 13 year old boy and is about to finish his project- Documenting the schools that were shut down during 911 attacks in Manhattan. Brook who was at school during the attacks. Is busy working on finishing the film for the Tribeca Film Festival. He has been contacted by the NY Daily news and here is the article about him and his film...

FDNY NYC Firemen

While heading back home from a meeting, my cab which was blowing red lights and speeding through the streets, came to a sudden halt on Park Ave. where sirens were loudly blaring... Firemen were running past my cab in full gear while cops were trying to close off the Park Ave. and 38th street intersection. One townhouse was up in flames....

The blaze was on the back side of the building.. I ran chasing behind the men of Rescue 1 FDNY, with camera in tow. Yellow caution tape was blocking all the onlookers... After all was under control, I followed Brian, of Rescue 1 FDNY, back to his truck and met the rest of the boys from the W43 street station for a quick photo opp.

Morgan Freeman in NYC

Steve was strolling down 43rd Street and Broadway today in NY and saw Morgan Freeman in an SUV asking a cop to move so he can pass through to get to the theater. Steve luckily had his camera in tow and got a shot.. no we're not paparazzi!! LOL.. it was just an opportune moment... and we dig Morgan Freeman...

Under the Painted Line

When Steve and I first met he was working on a project called "Under the Painted Line" which was a body painting series that showcased each model painted as how she perceived herself to be, and to show the challenges they went through in society being multi racial, dealing with stereotypes, etc.. I thought it was an incredible concept and the images were amazing and a bit on the dark side. One model was a contortionist from Russia who worked in Coney Island. A beautiful girl who looks like Cameron Diaz (without the paint on). We heard she now gets knives thrown at her by her knife-throwing boyfriend in Coney Island for their act..

Steve was showing this series in galleries in NYC along with a couple different travel series. It was right after his last gallery show at Built that we decided to leave NY and head on the road for a bit... we continued this bodypainting series while on the road and it eventually morphed into something different from it's beginnings... it became color and involved couples rather than just individual models. The entire series is quite striking.. most of the time when you think of bodypainting you think of mardi-gras-type models in the street showcasing their tits, but this was more than that... as you can see.......
