Moscow: It felt so familiar..............

Throwing out everything that I have ever heard about Russia was the only way I could leave JFK. The process is all I needed to know. Everything you have heard everything about Russia(**except how expensive it is) is all wrong…….. I would or could have never imagined I would have fallen in love with this city, and could never imagine hearing these words come out of my mouth that I want to move there.





I was such a tourist......... Finding time to sit and watch other artist paint, sketch photograph the great lawns the swans and the tourist that mingled in the grass with locals reading or playing cards in Arkhangelskoe Park, Gorky Park ...





How can I explain how much I enjoyed myself!











I still hear my friends voices as I flip through images... I recount the laughs I had, the sharpness of music that cut through the air and danced well past sunrise on numerous nights. The joys of Moscow some of the best French, Georgian and Japanese foods that I ever ate, Together with friends and views from the top of the Ritz at O2 Lounge or Kalina Bar // Калина Бар, Krysha Mira, Propaganda and others venues having drinks to the sound of rush hour traffic the smell perfume mixing with the smells of the bakeries below…………

Sunday Fun day Miami May 2010

Sunday fun days... This past Sunday I did a lot of walking, driving, resting, On the beach~On the water~on Lincoln Road and then driving through the design district! Out takes of scenes here in Miami...

Skylines and cities towns and Views from around the globe!

My assistants and I have been pulling all sorts of images for the blog for twitter for facebook… We pulled some random and not so random images of skylines, cities and towns showing you scenes from around the globe…





To capture some of these images I had to hiked mountains, walked under waterfalls, hang from a bungee cords, scaled and climbed old rickety ladders, I had to hang out of moving cars, hang off a building, tied and able to hang out of a helicopter, climbed an 80 foot boom while sailing on the open seas, or swung from a top of a zip line spanning a crevasse the size of Rhode Island…





I have been under or eye level to so many rainbows, I have got caught in a thunderstorms I have see lightning hit water and trees, I have nearly been blown off a 50 story tower. . I have tried and used whatever leverage I could muster to find.



Naples, San Fran, LA, Acapulco, Santa Fe, Saint Barths, Antigua, Ohio, Canada, Livingston, Jamaica, Iowa, Amsterdam, London, NYC, and even the OC…



The goal was to capture mages for my clients……… Whatever it takes to get the shot I have never complained and never will complain it is a coolest rush ever.………

A few free monks and a caged tiger mixed with a Chinese acting group running all over....

I bumped into a few Chinese actors I got lost in conversations with a monk and found myself between a caged tiger and an animal rescue activist all this before lunch..

Just another day in Miami... The Asian Festival....


I have had many conversations with friends and random people through out my
travels about life about animals and how all animals react or interact with me. Here is
another occasion when I was alone on assignment and able to meet, to touch and then
allowed to photograph a tiger. Normally this tiger Rex is not friendly to
any Males, this changes when I happened to find myself with in inches of his
cage. Pacing back and forth in the cage. I was watching him inches from the front of the
cage. When I went to get closer and approach the cage I was told to say away from it because he is
restless and agitated. As I began to look back at the Rex the tiger he
apparently was sniffing at me nose up in the air he is capturing my scent.
The next thing I see is this 700 pound tiger roll over on his back and
extend one of his paws in my direction, I turn back to the trainer and I
said I love his aggression I must be part cat. well I did get a chance to
extend my hand and with a few fingers I was able to touch his paws and then
his pad while watching his claws extend and contract with my touch.

Antigua images for Elite Island Resorts are up!

The last month has passed to quickly the New Year is in full swing and I have been under a colossal amount of images and dead lines.

Back in November I had the pleasure of working with Elite Island Resorts on 3 projects in Antigua.

After days and weeks of shooting, editing, selecting, retouching and submitting the images of the trip back to Elite Island Resorts. The design team at Elite Island Resorts has redesigned and included my images on there new websites.

A written thank you to all the team members at the St. James, The Galley Bay and the Verandah and a special thank you to Elite Island resorts for rolling out a perfect 16 days of planning. My cast and crew with whom I could never have completed 1 day of 16 all I can say is many many many thanks to you guys. Take a look at the results:

Antigua was well worth the Wait!

Antigua! It has been a long time since I have posted…



Antigua........The Pristine beaches-three amazing resorts- 16 days of shooting seven days of editing and I still dream about walking on those beaches at sunrise feeling my feet touch the water-chilled sand. It is my foot prints that stretch along the shore line as far as my eyes or camera lens can see. It is here at dawn that on this day I get spoiled with seven rainbows and two that were double rainbows; where for an entire day two birds followed me in and out of villas and as doors opened and closed the birds entered and left; where even a sunset on a distant road became littered with a flock of donkeys. One of the donkeys seemed to have a bolt of sun light following his head as he moved to inspect me. Right between his ears this sun ray ran right along his ears onto the side of the road as I walked right up the sunbeam and it ran into the lens of my camera and in perfect site of Mr. Donkey.



The reason for this trip is simple… it is because of Elite Island Resorts that I had the pleasure of being on this project and in touch with nature.
With the help of my crew number one assistant Tabby, the girls- Colleen, Veronica, Erin my re-toucher Mary. Tipping my hat to the countless other teams at each of the resorts including The Galley Bay, The Verandah and the St. James’s Resort- the results were spectacular and mother nature held out and gave us one amazing test of willpower and excitement over the course of our assignment.

So much more to explore!

After all the things I have been able to accomplish so far in such a short time. I am enthusiastic as to what is waiting for me........

After the completion of Fairmont Hot Springs resort

Back in August I completed an assignment in Fairmont, Montana. 6 Weeks have past and after going through all the keepers for Fairmont Hot Springs resort they have chosen their selections and they have been retouched and submitted. From the bright orange and purple blues that blended with greens and the whites of the mountains whether it was sunrise or sunset that beauty of those colors that mingled is...... More to come in the winter I was asked to return for a winter shoot!














I am now able to move onto the production of my next assignment in which is taking me to and my assistant to Antigua for a 17 day shoot! Details to follow..

City boy turns to open road and finds the love of nature, wild animals, lighting storms, sunrises, sunsets and getting lost in Yellowstone National Park from sunrise to sunset.



Three days in and around Yellowstone National Park. Walking, driving, and running into and away from moose, bears, elk, bison and then jumping into the water just above the Upper Falls to cool down. But in the few hours that I was driving, walking or sitting I was able to digest what was in front, what was around and what is truly special about Yellowstone National Park. Here are a few of the experiences that I was able to capture while in Yellowstone National Park. Here images speak much louder than words and here images are nothing compared to being surrounded by mountains under the canopy of the clouds and warming up my body in the sun. I am merely nothing in comparison to this.

Weeks after Leaving Montana... .The memories of Philipsburg

It has been almost a month since I have returned to Miami Beach and as I walk my dog and my girlfriend holds onto my arm and then slides down to my hand, we joss around thinking how we used to have to wear a sweatshirt or sneakers as we walked through the chill of the night air. We had stopped many times while walking around in Philipsburg to say hello to the townspeople, to look at the brilliant stars, or just to run into a bar to grab a shot to cut the cold. On the many occasions of the late night walks or early morning walks that we went on there seemed to be a voice that would come out of no where with a hello, a good morning, a good evening or do you have time for a joke, a smoke, a drink.



Tonight on Miami Beach it is 87 degrees, there are no stars, no chill of the cold breeze, no sound of the leaves rustling in the background. But as we are walking under the droplets of rain some of our recent acquaintances words or accents or jokes arise in our talking and bring back the ever welcoming community of P-Burg… Where some of the coolest nights Erin and I spent just happened on these long walks at night in the mountains of Montana in the belly of the summer during the month of August:
