The blog, My blog the return after a few weeks of island hoping, state jumping my return to South Florida has been a ride! ¬

Trying to find time to play catch up, follow up and maintain a online and off line social presence    while going through images, emails, phone messages and contracts for up coming assignments has been harder then a juggler, juggling chainsaws on top of ship in the in the great baring sea during an ice storm~

Nah that is just fluff it just takes good time management~ It is life and it is my life and it is exactly how I like it~ No sleep, lots of coffee going through images as I am shooting it live again right before my eyes.

(Get off the bus & see the world~ De Palm Tours Aruba )

As I am going through images of Aruba I find myself squinting as I remember being perched on the bow of the yacht sailing over the white caps of Caribbean waters shooting this amazing port when we ran into a wave head on cutting right through it instead of on top of it…  The wave hit my face. It felt like someone was holding my eyelids open while sucking down gallons of seawater and being soaked from head to toe. The stinging in my eyes I was sliding, I was falling I was...

(We are not sheep we are zebras)

I was searching for the railing with my hand, my camera was in my other hand, I almost fell off the freaking yacht, with or with out my camera, I don’t even remember smacking myself in the head with it, it happened that fast and that quick. I heard the captain in the background laughing at me as I rubbed the welt with my hand.  I love returning home just so I am able to digest all the stories, digest all the moments that lead me here, in front of my computer immersed and lost in images and smiling as the memories come floating in one after another~

Well that brings me back, back to sitting here at 10:19 PM as I am going through my recent images. Have a great night as mine has just begun, and the coffee is starting to brew…….

Cheers you my friends for making life so special~

(After a long day on the yacht it was good to get off of it and on to the beach~ With Capt. Freeman)

And Yes I know that these images have nothing to do with what I wrote... but that is the point, it made you close your eyes it made you think about what it felt like......... Because again it is all about IMAGES..........................GO~ SEE~ DO~

Frozen in time-Frozen in the moment-Frozen in this season!

A few words to kick off the new year!

Harmony-Adventure-Comparisons-Change-Purity-Control-patience

Through good times and bad times what is left is stories and imagery.................... here are a few images from my hike the other day!

To sum up my feeling of today! I will end with one quote By Hunter S. Thompson:

"Who is the happier man, he who has braved the storm of life and lived or he who has stayed securely on shore and merely existed?"

For 2011 I will continue to grow, to experience: I will keep sharing and I will keep reflecting on the above quote...

When we align with Nature, Magic Happens" John Friend~ Goodbye 2010 Hello 2011

As 2010 comes to end as my eyes close and I breath in all that I have experienced. I dream of the open road, the snow capped mountains, the sweet taste of salty air from the ocean shores, hiking up a trail under the clouds but most all I long to continue to explore the destinations & people of the world....

From the Mountains of New Mexico, to the flats of Texas, to the beaches in Miami to the farms of upstate New York it has been a magical ride through out the country this year.

Life has filled my glass and I have slowly enjoyed each sip as though it was is my last. The good thing is that my glass remains full & my palate is quenched.

I have posted many kudos about the people of that I have encountered from across the states in the past. I have been touched and I have just recently learned what it means to live a charmed life...............................

No matter what life throws at you the one thing I know and understand is that you have to be like bamboo!
You have to absorb it and be very strong, your roots have to be firmly planted and you have to suck it up..

Because it will change it will get better, it is just a chapter of now, not then, not the future, it is just NOW.............It will change....

Like you I look forward to what 2011 holds....

I follow you and you follow me...........

Skylines and cities towns and Views from around the globe!

My assistants and I have been pulling all sorts of images for the blog for twitter for facebook… We pulled some random and not so random images of skylines, cities and towns showing you scenes from around the globe…

To capture some of these images I had to hiked mountains, walked under waterfalls, hang from a bungee cords, scaled and climbed old rickety ladders, I had to hang out of moving cars, hang off a building, tied and able to hang out of a helicopter, climbed an 80 foot boom while sailing on the open seas, or swung from a top of a zip line spanning a crevasse the size of Rhode Island…

I have been under or eye level to so many rainbows, I have got caught in a thunderstorms I have see lightning hit water and trees, I have nearly been blown off a 50 story tower. . I have tried and used whatever leverage I could muster to find.

Naples, San Fran, LA, Acapulco, Santa Fe, Saint Barths, Antigua, Ohio, Canada, Livingston, Jamaica, Iowa, Amsterdam, London, NYC, and even the OC…

The goal was to capture mages for my clients……… Whatever it takes to get the shot I have never complained and never will complain it is a coolest rush ever.………

Enjoy! Steve
