Peter pan goes to Visit Lowell Davis in Carthage Missouri

I found myself chasing after myself chasing after the animals chasing after me!

Peter Pan~ Lives………….

There always seems to be an angel, a voice, the site of a hawk or other birds, a sound of barking dogs, the smell of food cooking……In Missouri followed the roads blindly, I followed the sounds, I followed the only path I knew. The open road. Working in Middle America.

I had a destination; I had a detailed list of where I had to go. I just could not find any of those places while I was searching them out. Only until I got lost was I able to find my way…..Such is life………

Right to up the steps of Lowell Davis house the Iconic American Artist who lives Carthage Missouri. His Dogs his Peacocks were the first to greet me and lead or follow me around.

For the love ................of the Mediterranean............

For the love of.... Food, Wine and the art of eating! Bouncing between Upstate NY, Long Island and New York City I have been a busy ole bee. When you have nothing the best way to share something is over a meal... The best way to enjoy that is amongst friends, old or new. Today topping off the friends or circle of friends is having a chef in that circle of friends. Unknown to New Yorkers which is about to change. Resides this talented new chef that is making waves in New York City.

Her name is Chef Deniz and she is from Izmir Turkey: Izmir Delights An authentic taste of the Mediterranean....

After spending 2 days in her kitchen salivating over her dishes while photographing them trying not to loose control over all the new smells and new flavors that my senses were picking up and threw me into hyper drive...... or maybe it was because of the all the Turkish coffee I was drinking! I don't know but either way I will let you be the judge of that>>>> Take a fork, use your fingers just dig in and for the love of it enjoy yourself!

The train arrives in The Show Me State!

Part one the Arrival: The first but surly not the last trip to Missouri!

My return to blogging is long since due! Due to life..... Due to time, Due to.........

Good hearted church going people values seemed straight and pure. Out from the east I arrived, crossing into the bible capital where cursing is a sin, and on every corner you can repent.

The Timing of it!
Racing along the country road to get here to get the train at the exact moment it is hurling at a dismal pace. The union pacific trains have no speed limits no obstacles they just motor down the tracks pulling to many cars to count! Heart burn and timing……….

On this trip I have several assignments spread out to all four corners of the state. I spent a few days deep in the state working in Webb City and Carthage, Joplin turning to Branson * that is another thing! Even during the off season there is no city like it anywhere…. ANYWHERE! Large Texas Large! Vegas NAH not even close….. Who needs a roller coaster on top of a building! In Branson they got KING KONG! And a Giant CHICKEN! St Louis! The Arch the Pride of the Cardinals opening day was I hear just the beginning I do not know or cared enough to ask if that was a good thing or a bad thing! But if you ever find yourself anywhere in the St. Louis just don’t say you are from Kansas City. Kansas City I had BBQ pulled Pork and 1 week later I can still smell and taste the remnants on my fingers and breathe.

More to come! A lot more 3 Months more... Beginning at the end is best and easiest!

All the best and welcome back!

Colors of Winter from Miami ! Live,Love, laugh

Live, Laugh, Love. I have been told that twice this week by a friend and from one of my cousins....

Colors, shades, the pallet of a painter. Tones of speech, body language and the interpretations of the viewer! Smiles over rides everything, comfortability equals openness.

On a bike, chatting with a friend on the grass, boarding, blading, talking, walking friends connect and work get's done...................................

Through good times and bad times what is left is stories and imagery.................... here are a few images from my hike the other day!

To sum up my feeling of today! I will end with one quote By Hunter S. Thompson:

"Who is the happier man, he who has braved the storm of life and lived or he who has stayed securely on shore and merely existed?"

For 2011 I will continue to grow, to experience: I will keep sharing and I will keep reflecting on the above quote...

X mass in and around the Finger lakes

A few sick days, a few flurries, a little drive lead to a walk about one of the finger lakes.
The winters chill chased me around the lake, but night fell I was back at my finances home shedding my damp clothes and pulling four covers over my body.

Wishing all that be Merry! safe and hopefully you have a designated driver......:)

Cheers!
